What We Do

Who We Are:

Marianas Disabled Workforce Industries (MDWI) is a non-profit organization on Guam and the Marianas that was established on September 22, 2022.

Why we started the organization:

We are passionate and inspired about our organization and our mission. As working board members of Special Olympics Guam, we’ve watched our athletes grow and the potential that each of them can contribute to society. Sports boosted their self-confidence and improved their mental health. This motivated our group to go beyond that and provide a lifetime of learning and development through the workforce. We want them to continue to grow and be role models for all people with disabilities. We want to guide and provide them the tools to succeed daily, focusing on their abilities, not their disabilities.

MISSION:

To provide training and work opportunities to Guam and throughout Micronesia underutilized workforce for individuals with disabilities to deliver excellent, mission-essential products and services to private companies, and Federal and Local Governments in employment opportunities.

VISION:

Be a trusted source of supply and services for private companies, and Federal and Local Governments while creating quality employment opportunities across all economic sectors for persons with disabilities on Guam and throughout Micronesia.
